The NEW and IMPROVED Gen 7 Plus Sea Pump now includes dual seals and dual bearings. The bearing is also 40% larger than OEM bearings leading to an even longer pump life!

For a number of years now the factory sea pumps have been plagued with a design flaw that made each factory pump a throw away non-serviceable item. While the impeller could be serviced it is the factory body that wears out prematurely. Without the proper tolerances, these units just won’t pump water. Well, Hardin Marine, the largest manufacturer of all Stainless Steel Sea Pumps set out to again solve the shortcomings of OEM equipment. By developing a stainless steel 316 heat-treated casting Hardin Marine was able to incorporate new dual stainless steel serviceable wear plates as well as the use of a standard common Mercury water impeller. These characteristics have now turned this pump into a serviceable replacement that will provide years of serviceable life span. And all at a fraction of the cost of the original pump. So if you’re out to update and upgrade to a pump that's designed to last a lifetime, look no further as it has arrived.

 
Note: This Part includes a pulley already assembled to the pump. The pulley included in this kit is 5-3/4" in outside diameter and WILL NOT replace pulleys from Axius models as the diameter is not the same. This pulley will also not replace & 7" larger diameter pulley #8M2013638. Your original pulley will need to be reinstalled on this pump by a marine technician/Professional Installer

1. Does this pump come complete or do I need to buy any other parts?
A: This pump comes complete, with the pulley and it will re-use your factory rear pump inlet.
 
2. What if my rear pump housing is worn badly?
A: This surface no longer mates to the new impeller, so it does not matter, the rear housing is now only a water inlet and exit for your new pump.
 
3. Does this pump feature wear plates on both sides of the impeller?
A: Yes it does, this is a unique feature of this pump, this will allow you to service this pump for years to come without any housing damage.
 
4. Is any modification required to my factory mounting bracket?
A: No modification is required, this pump was engineered to accept the stock mounting bracket.
 
5. What impeller does this pump use?
A: This pump features an upgraded larger shaft and bearing assembly and is designed to use the standard Mercruiser sea pump impeller that has been around for 30 years and is readily available across the country. The pump includes an impeller.

Parts orders placed before 2:30 pm EST will normally be shipped the same day (if the item is in stock). If you need your parts asap, FedEx Overnight, second-day air, etc., are also available (Deadline is 2:30 pm Eastern standard time). Engine orders will be processed and shipped within 24-48 hours after payment-in-full is received. For special engine orders, shipping time is based on current stock and build time.

All part orders must be placed online. You may select “In-store pickup at our company” if you prefer to pick up your order. We will text and call when ready for pickup.

Items under 75 pounds are sent via FedEx in Continental USA. Items sent overseas are sent via FedEx international, or air freight (depending on item weight). FedEx cannot ship to P.O. boxes.

All Packages over $175.00 will require FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address; from a neighbor, building manager, or someone at a neighboring address; or the recipient can also leave a FedEx Door Tag authorizing the release of the package without anyone present, or you can sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager.

Canadian Shipments

Rates for Standard service to and from Canada do not include charges for customs clearance. For shipments from Mexico, routine customs clearance is included. Customs brokerage charges, duties, and taxes will be billed to the importer unless otherwise indicated by the shipper. Some shipments to and from certain locations may require additional time in transit.

We use different freight carriers to secure the lowest price AND safest delivery. Some of the freight carriers we use are R&L Freight, Con-Way Freight, Estes Express, Pilot Air, USF Holland, Forward Air, Old Dominion, Overnight Express, Watkins, and Dayton Freight. Engines can be picked up at local shipping terminals or dropped off at your location. **Engines are packed in specially designed crates made for that engine**

All oil & lubricating fluids are drained before they are sent out (this is required by our freight carriers). All engines & parts are packed by our shipping department. Engines are then inspected by our shipping manager before they are loaded onto a freight carrier.

Returns

For items received as described, a refund of the final invoice price (minus shipping and handling charges and a 15% restocking fee) will be issued. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and for sufficiently packing and insuring returned items unless otherwise agreed upon. Refunds will not be issued for damaged merchandise. All returns must be made within 15 days of delivery to you. No refunds for electronic parts if the box is opened. All returns must have an RMA # and invoice #. 15% restocking fee on the return of any complete engine. Please call or email for an RMA #.

If parts arrive damaged in shipment, it is the customer's responsibility to notify the carrier immediately and reject the damaged package. Contact Michigan Motorz regarding the potential damage. A claim will be filed and we will send out the identical part. If parts are damaged in shipment and the customer does not notice damage, please call Michigan Motorz, LLC.
